Upon observing the young woman known as Chloie Docce, one could see that she is an easy person to get along with. She's simply divine in the ways of pranking and enjoying life. Chlo is also the sort of person who doesn't hold back that gorgeous smile that sneaks up upon her lips and radiates toward the dimples her cheeks. Quite simply, she's a remarkably fun person to be around. While all of the above is quite true, it's also true to say that Chloie doesn't have many friends. It might be a strange thing to examine, but the fact is that as loyal as Chlo is, she has a hard time trusting others. She's also not very outgoing upon first meeting someone new, so in short, this entire spiel explains why we find Chloie strolling the library alone, as usual.
Chloie had woke that day with a smile on her face as she generally did most days. She's certainly a morning person. You know the scene in Cinderella, when Cindy wakes and the birds are chirping while bathing her? Yes, that's sort of the idea in Chloie's head when she wakes of the morning. Still, no fantasy can hide the reality that birds are simply not going to fly through the window and befriend her. There are no talking mice to dry her tears when they fall. It's simply Chlo on her own, rising with the sun and falling...well, sometimes with the sun as well. The girl doesn't tend to go to sleep early, so there have certainly been days where she's closed her eyes when the dusk approached. Although that was true of the night before, Chloie seemed to have plenty enough sleep to wake up happily. She strolled about the girl's dormitory in the Cailles common room, her messy, brown hair in tangles. She didn't really mind, though. After dressing in a pair of jeans and layering two neon colored tanks over her small form, she went to the mirror that stood at one end of the dormitory. She stared in it, putting her left hand on her waist. She tilted her head, biting her lip. "Hmm." After a few seconds, she reached for the brush she had stashed in her back pocket and tamed her hair. She supposed it sufficed, and as such tossed the brush onto her bed and headed out of the common room.
Chloie took off in the direction where most of the students weren't going, which was the library. It was a crisp Saturday morning, and most of the students would surely be outside, playing Quidditch or simply enjoying the fresh air. No. Chlo wasn't really in the mood to be outside at that moment. Instead, she chose the library. Its cool atmosphere calmed her nerves, and the idea of being alone for the morning was all too tempting. Chloie was also very much interested in writing herself, so it made sense for her to venture to the library, anyway.
She walked along the first aisle, staring up at the shelves. There were so many interesting things there, so much she wanted to know. While Chloie could admit to being quite the intelligent one, she'd also confirm that she didn't know everything. She bit her lower lip and tilted her head to the side, considering pulling one of the shelf. That decision could be a vague one, one that could go up in the air. Why? Well, you never know what kind of book you'd pull. Still, Chloie reached her hand up to a pull book out, secretly whispering to herself that one day, she'd be pulling her own.
